The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Grummites are pretty awful to fight. any mods to improve them?
not awful as in im getting my ass kicked by them.
more like its a chore to fight them because they feel half baked and its more of an eye roll having to fight them.

like how they're able to do a melee attack while casting that healing spell.
or somethings they do half a stagger animation and instantly melee hit me
or how the archer version switches from its bow to his dagger then to empty handed.
they never seem to use their dagger against me.

also blocks attacks by rising its wrist... :P
thats not an annoying one just silly
casually blocks a sword or warhammer with his wrist.

anyone know of any mods that can improve or even make them human npc's
I'll be doing a bit of a search now might even see if i can do it in the creation kit.
wanted to see if anyone else has something.

They're not much different to any other primarily melee-based enemy that can block. Forget about their fighting style: if you can't just bug-zap them with a direct-damage spell, then hit them with paralyse or damage fatigue spells until they fall over.

They're weak against fire, but strong against frost.
I've never heard someone complain about Grummites of all the monsters out there :D

There's no way to turn them into human NPC's because that's not how the construction kit works, they are Creature NPC's and that's not changeable unless you were to create an NPC race, remove all grummites and place those NPC's in their stead but nobody will ever do that because it's unneccessary.

If you're really struggling, conjure something to distract them and kill them from a distance. Think of them as though they were just another skull to crush.
