Good NPC to murder?

I wanna join the Dark Brotherhood but idk who to kill, for roleplay it needs to be somebody who insults my character or just seems generally rude, i killed the pirate chick but that didnt attract them.

You gotta do it around Anvil, just pick someone there, if you're doing the DB then you're a bad guy anyway.

Guards work. Depending on your personality/speechcraft and such, they can be rude.

That's only in ESO that it has to be Anvil.

The skooma den in Bravil. If you smash dat old lady fast enough then she won't signal for the guards--the other three idiots in there are criminals or something so they won't signal for the guards either way (unless they manage to flee the building idk). I'm pretty sure it's the old lady that fulfills the muder-requirement.

There's lots of skooma in there to sell-off, as well. Fetches for a really nice price early on in the game.

Or you can kill the guy in jail for performing the Black Sacrament, I think. That'd be ironic.

I usually end up killing some random NPC on the road by accident, or a Legionnaire, while trying to help him kill a rampaging Minotaur.
Sometimes I'll just get a random "Unseen forces know what you did last summer", even though I didn't do anything. Killed a mudcrab, maybe.
