Oh, didn't know that
They start with a higher speed stat, and that's arguably the most important one in the game (to the point where my "final" armour suits always end up holding nothing but Fortify Speed enchants on them).
That in itself doesn't matter in the long term (as all stats have the same training potential), but they're also a smidgeon taller, making them always move 3% faster than a female with the same stats.
