Turn undead doesn't work against vampires?
I have a Turn Undead level 25 spell, but I can't turn any vampires, and not particularly high level vampires (I'm only level 5 at the moment). Are vampires not considered undead in Oblivion? I was hoping to create a Holy Avenger type greatsword with fire damage and a short turn undead effect, but this would put a bit of a damper on it.

OOO[www.nexusmods.com] offers a weapon you might be interested in - the Light of Dawn, a two-hander which gets stronger as you kill more vampires with it. You want fire, it's got fire, and it'll even cure you of Porphyric Hemophilia while fighting them.

Fair warning, it's pretty well-guarded.

Hmm...thanks, Bloke.

I'm using Francesco's. OOO just isn't for me. I suppose I could still make use of a Turn Undead sword. Other undead vastly outnumber vampires in this game, as it is.
