construction set

So this version does not come with one, unlike the disks... and it is on nexus but you need an account to download it...

WTF ... I used the old one just fine without all the associated crap they tell you that you need.. is there anyway to just get the construction set without the BS?

The old construction set will probably work with the steam version, it is still the same game. The Nexus sites are free and an excellent source for mods. You may want to consider joining.

I honestly do not want to have to keep track of yet another password, lose it and get told I can't sign in due to my email already being used etc... it is just an annoyance... especially for something that should come free with the game.

Seeing how some people mod their games, I really don't want to even go to that site.
