Still no Guide To Kvatch?

There are Guides to every other city in the game, but not a Guide to Kvatch. I'm amazed they left it out to begin with, and even more amazed they never patched it in.

I'm not sure, but I think the supposedly author for such a book died in the siege of Kvatch.

Nope, she's alive and in the Imperial City. She wants to talk about the Divines.

It'd stand to reason that she'd wait for the city to be rebuilt before publishing anything. "Guide to a Smoking Ruin" probably wouldn't sell very well.

But that's just it: The siege of Kvatch starts the day the game starts, when you wake up in your cell. She could not have possibly been to every city except Kvatch and written her books on them AND had them printed and distributed in a single day.

Not even the Black Horse Couriers are that good.

Which means she'd already been to those cities previously, and wrote the books as she traveled, and had them published/printed/distributed upon her return.
However, she would have no reason to skip Kvatch.

At most, she would have been planning a trip to and a book for Kvatch, but was put off by the siege, though she does seem oblivious to the whole affair until it's happening inside the walls.
If you speak to her, she only wants to talk about the Divines. You can persuade her to tell you about an Acrobatics trainer, and a couple of others, IIRC.
That means her next book (which I think she does mention) is about the Divines, with no intention of writing one about Kvatch.

I agree, It would've been a smart move on the part of the developers to add this. Would be a cool mod idea now but we would need a talented enough writer!

I'll make this offer, if someone sends me the script I'll publish the mod myself.
