Best Sigil Stones for pure mage?
Hello, I am looking for advice from exprienced players about the best enchantments (sigil stones) to use on a pure mage (I.E. a mage using only clothing/magic)

I am considering doing something like the following...

-2 pieces enchanted with 25% fire/frost/shock (gives 25 armor each+a 35 armor spell is the cap)
-6 pieces enchanted with +50 magicka. Does this seem resonable?

Notes: i am a breaton and plan on grabbing the mundane ring (50% spell resistence) for fighting mages.

I could also instead go...

-8 +50 Magicka stones. +85% armor spell.

Which one of these seems better? Thanks!

Clothing only pure mage! The best kind of mage.

For the build above (Max Difficulty play through Mage/Thief) , I just went with Mundane Ring + 8 Fortify Magicka Sigil Stones, then kept a look out for Reflect Damage late game.

8 Fortify Magicka Sigil stones gives you the ability to do whatever you want more easily . More Magicka = more Magicka regen as well.

You should rarely be getting into melee range if you can avoid it anyway , so Armour rating isn’t ‘that’ important. If it’s really required, remember that as a Breton you have Dragon Skin once a day if you happen to get cornered, and can potentially make sheilds potions as well.

Later on though, Reflect Damage equipment > Armour if you can find it. Jewellery (Amulet, Ring) is 33% each, and the Knights of the Nine Shield (forget what it’s called) is 35%, so with 3 pieces of equipment you can be completely immune to melee Damage (which is plain silly).

100% Chameleon can be useful from time to time since A.I. is very stupid and couldn't understand who attacked him.

Alright a few things that I should've made more clear...

-I am not playing a optimized (efficent leveled) character. Thus, my speed is going to be fairly low which restricts my kiteing. In addition, I am also bad a kiteing so having armor of some kind is a must for me if I don't want to get decimeted.
-Again, I am playing a pure mage. My definition of this is ONLY using spells. I will not be sneaking around, using chameleon, or using shields (the equipment type). Regardless, reflect damage feels impractical since two of the items are random drops an the thrid is a shield that I don't plan on ever using. 100 % is a route I don't want to go as I feel it wouild make the game boring if nothing ever tried to kill you.

Here is some details about my chracter for refrence...

lv: 17
Race; breaton
Birth: Lady (should've been mage, but w/e)
Class: all magic schools, blade (magical specilization, favored attributes are endurance, and intelligence or willpower, I don't exactly remember which one...)

Currently, my skills are something like
Destruction: 72 Strength: 50ish
Restoration: 60ish Willpower/Intelligence: One is at 85ish the other is at 100
Mysticism: 60ish Endurace: 100 (at lv 12)
Conjuration: 55ish Speed: 50ish
Blade: 40ish
Alteration: 68
Illusion: 38ish
Armorer: 50ish

I rarely make use of the other skills except for alchemy, which remains low at this point. The other attributes (aglitiy, personality and luck) i don't really care about that much. Alright, hopefully this increase in info makes it more clear what I am looking for, sorry for the confusion.

Edit: also I do not plan on using exploits/glitches of any kind (other than savesuccuming the stones) as I feel it ruins the fun of the game.
