Mods show up in Data Files, but aren't checkable

I'm running on Linux Mint 19 and when I look at the data files, the mods I have installed show up, but there is no check box next to them, nor can I change the load order. Some mods seem to be working and others aren't. Has anyone else seen this?

Are you using Vortex mod manager? You can also tick mods using that

Nope, just using the Steam launcher.

steam/game can read data files so can display. cant write so option to change grayed out?

What's weird is all the DLC files are checkable, just not any mods I've put there. I've granted read/write access to the Data folder, but nothing seems to have changed.

For cryin' out loud, that was incredibly annoying. Just for fun, I double clicked on one of the mods that was missing a checkbox and suddenly it showed as checked.

OMGosh! THANK-YOU! THANK-YOU!!!!!! I have Oblivion Running in ExaGear Emulator on my Phone (s21 Ultra) and Still Can't get OBSE to work! AMAZING That Something SO SIMPLE SOLVES MY PROBLEMS! I Can't Access The Console in The Emulator Either! But There are Mods Which Have Books That you can Use! ;D Now At Least I can Play in Style Somewhat!
