NPC's do not speak.
I recently downloaded Oblivion- just to face the same problem i had before uninstalling it.
Im experiencing a heavy bug, or something, idk what it is. If im gonna start a conversation with a NPC it simply zoom in his face with no dialoge at all. I can choose dialog options but the NPC wont respond.. Anyone had the same issue?

Same issue as you, I don"t have any dialog sound but I can select dialogs options. The steam store says that my language isn't supported on this version (french), I don't really understand why

I fixed it by simply changing the games language. From german to english
