Force Unequip?

Hi,

I have a robe which has been auto equipped by a mod. I cannot remove it. The game says it cannot be unequipped, as well as it being a quest item. I am curious if there is a console command or mod which can unequip unequipable items.

If you dont have the ID for the item, place all of your items in a secure container and open the console, click on yourself and use the command: removeallitems

This will remove the robes and you can safely get your items back.

The only danger with this is if you have other quest items in your inventory, it will remove them too. I suggest in this case getting a no quest items mod, and then uninstalling it once you've done what you need to do.

That’s an interesting workaround. Thanks for sharing. The mod author says this instance is by design, but your response is very valuable information!

I tried this command and while it removed all non-quest items it did not remove any quest items, including a piece of equipment I can not unequip. Is it possible there is a different command for this?

There appears to be a glitch. I'm well passed where it was need and now I want it gone.
