how to finish "A knife in the dark" quest via console ?

Hi, i dont want to belong to the brotherhood but got a visit buy that guy. He says if i dont want to join, i just shall do nothing, but since a long time i have this quest now and it does not finish from alone, as it should be. Can someone tell me how i can end this quest with the console and get rid of the knife(blade of woe) in my inventory too ?

Edit: got it to complete with the command: completequest dark01knife ..for some reason it did not work earlier, now i just have to get rid of the knife

If you want to reload to an earlier save, you can kill him. If you do that it closes out the entire dark brotherhood quest and story.

Nono, i just want to get rid of this quest and i did that already.
The only problem now is, that i still have the Blade of Woe in my inventory.
Entereing: "removeitem 00022ba8 1" does not help, the game tells me, i need a reference. So i read i need to target the item, what i did. Opened the inventory, opened the console and targeted the knife, then entered the command above.
Nothing, it still says it needs a reference. Restarting game did not help also

Blade of woe has many version and from what you wrote i think you have a start version Id should be 22BA8.

Then bring up console and typpe "player.removeitem 22BA8 1" will do
