getting the add ons or dlc's

Hello,i have Oblivion game of the year edition,but i now realize there is another version of the game wich includes add ons like a pirate ship as a house and much more fun things,i cant buy them in the store idk why,so my question is that,how do i buy the vile lair the pirate ship house dlc etc??do i have to buy the deluxe game of the year editon again??if so ,can i at least continue from the save i have right now??any help would be great.

Yes. You have to buy the Deluxe Edition all together in order to play those 'little DLCs'. There's no way to get them separately, as it's no longer available at Bethesda's Online Store and such.

As for your concerns about save files, I believe it's compatible. You can probably still continue playing the game where you left off.

The Deluxe edition is a bundle consisting of GotY + additional DLCs. Steam will not allow you to purchase this bundle if you already own GotY, and Bethesda refuse to allow you to purchase the DLCs separately.

You'll need to either purchase a Deluxe key from a third-party seller, or have your GotY license removed from your account.

So long as you don't delete them, you can certainly continue with your old saves once Deluxe is installed. It simply "adds on" to your existing installation.

check if you have those extra DLC's already, I bought the Oblivion goty version like 7 years ago and I have all the DLC for the game, frost crag, the castle ect.

check the data file tab in the launcher to see what dlc files you have available.

nope,i checked the data files launcher ,i only have the knight's dlc and the shivering isles dlc ,guess i need to delete the game from steam and buy a new key if i want to play the missing dlc's

not only that you have to remove the game from steam and then buy it again :D

80% of people who got the goty from steam go gog or pirate the dlc(sry if late answer).
Bethesda fault for not putting upgrade or buy seperatly.

at the game of the year deluxe edition steam page it says that i own it and that its already in my library but when i launch the game i only have the shivering isles and knights of the nine...where is the rest of the content i payed for

Double check that they are enabled. Open the launcher or your mod manager of choice and see if they are not only present in your data file, but actually enabled.
