Where can I find/acitvate the fighter's Stronghold Expansion?
I cant seem to find it on the map nor any rumors around it.
How do I activate quest or find it? I have the GOTY/Deluxe edition.

If Im wrong then it's steam's UI fault!

It's Steam's fault. This message is given to all GotY owners regardless as to whether they have the full Deluxe bundle.

Right click the game in your library, select Properties, and check for the DLC tab. If "Oblivion Game of the Year DLC" shows up there then you own Deluxe - if it doesn't, then you don't.

If the DLC is listed but not installed, then all you need to do is tick it.

If you really want to be sure, check the licenses and product key activations page. You can Ctrl+F and type "Oblivion" to jump to the purchase in concern.

If you wish to purchase Deluxe, you'll need to have GotY removed from your account before Steam will allow you to make the purchase. This won't remove the game from your computer, so the end result is that the DLC will install over the top of what you've already got.

Are you sure you have GOTY Deluxe? You should have gotten a note at the start of the game. Check your journal.

Thats what I need to confirm. When I opened the GOTY/Deluxe page on steam, it says i already have it. need to double check it.

No, i do not get the note on start of the game nor on the questlist. Ive checked the DLC list and I think its not complete

CHECKED:

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion® Game of the Year Edition Deluxe is already in your Steam library

What the freaking freak.

THeir UI/info is so misleading!

I got the: Oblivion Game of the Year

Oblivion Game of the Year DLC - does not show up. WELL DONE BETHESDA/STEAM!

Then how do I get the fighter's Stronghold Expansion ! I want it :(

I'm not opening my wallet to re-purchase the same title . I'll keep it this way.

Here's hoping that they will release individual DLCs so I can buy em!

As far as Steam goes, Bethesda has opted to make the licenses for those additional DLCs solely available through the Deluxe bundle.

There've been so many years of complaints that I'm pretty sure they're not listening - I wouldn't expect things to ever change.

They wont. They have abandoned old projects and move on to new one. It's what game industries do. If only they solved this one, it'll be much more perfect

It's not misleading. It's a case of not fully reading what the store page is telling you. RIght below the option to add the game to your cart, there's an option to get the GOTYE Deluxe version. Clicking on THAT allows you to buy the GOTYE Deluxe version.

You see, Steam has two different versions of the game, the GOTYE version and the GOTYE Deluxe version; these are two different things, so don't get them mixed up. For all intents and purposes, the GOYTE version has replaced the base version of the game; the GOTYE version and the base game are effectively one and the same now, in terms of buying them. To get ALL the DLC for Oblivion, you need to get the Deluxe version.

It's misleading because the store page is telling him he owns Deluxe - just as it tells all GotY owners. Disregarding that and clicking the option to buy Deluxe anyway results in an error, because the Steam store is convinced he already has it. Hence the need to manually disown the base product before the full bundle can be purchased.

Ah yes, we were talking about the information about Steam telling me I own the item I THOUGHT i purchased. If we see in details, there was some information about what this product offers and what others not.

Topic answered. So the only answer I've googled is that we need to purchase/own the Deluxe Edition. I'm not going to re-purchase same item just so I can get the final DLC, altough it is an interesting one. Others in internet the DLC is not that good, and can be replaced simply by mods.

Thats right. To buy(only showing in shop) there are 2 versions...but for real when download/install there is one version in steam(Game of the year). It happen when you bought DeLuxe it install the normal version. So technical problem it can happen the DLC not install also.
