Oblivion Reloaded - Water Issues
I had an issue with all water being invisible. I disabled the Shader option for Water in OR's INI file. I now have opaque water with no transparency that can only be seen from the surface. Underwater is still invisible. Tried the old trick of disabling Water Ripples. Didn't help.

I don't have an ENB. What could the issue be? Damn OR...

As mentioned on Nexus forums, OR settings cause this. It may not be the ripples, but the water shader, or something else. I suggest ridding yourself of it, and getting OUT and Cyrodiil ENB.

This wasn't an issue until I upgraded to Windows 10, though. I played the game for hours.

I recall that in your original post. Seems very bizarre. No idea how or if that could have caused a ini change. That said, I am on Win10, as well, so the game can work properly.

Can no longer run with OR installed. Crashes on loading. Uninstalled the issue still persists for some reason.

Man, its going to be a nightmare at this point to get things normal with your current install. Delete everything Oblivion related. Reinstall the game and re-download the your mods. Get the utilities you normally use, but for visuals, just get OUT and an ENB (I recommend Cyrodill ENB). Natural Environments won't hurt, either. I don't use wyre bash, but can tell you that OBMM is still great. Use OMODs where you can and manually install everything else. Don't touch NMM or Vortex, they do not work well with Oblivion. WHA? It's still there.

And i've got bigger problems to worry about now. Reinstalled, stock game, no mods. Not launching.

Delete all Oblivion related folders, in Steam and My Docs. Must be sure it’s all gone before starting again. Everything must go!

i could never get that mod to work right... both on old tech and now new tech...

too many crashes or fps drops.. idk how people got they pc to run it without issiues
