Removing 'Light Armor' From Item

I'm using a wig from the Goddess Store and have noticed it's classed as Light Armor which is one of my major skills. I can drop the wig on the floor and click on it with the console open to see the ref ID so is there a way I can use a console command or the CS to remove the light armor rating or change it to heavy armour?

The wig is enchanted with shield so I'm going to be using it for the rest of the game but I don't want it to increase the light armor skill.

I'm guessing you would have to load that mod for the goddess store into the CK then find that particular item using it's ref ID and change it's armor type. then save the change as your modded version of that mod.

Or go to the mod page and see if there is a heavy armor equivalent of the wig.

You do know that having an armor rating on a wig is seriously OP

If what you seek is to make the wig from Light Armor to Heavy Armor, here's a quick way to do so.

> Search and install TES4Edit and launch it.
> Load the plugin file that has a wig item. (I'm just gonna call this plugin file to Goddess Store)
> Search and click [+] on Goddess Store.
> Find '[+].. Armor' and click it.
> Find a wig you want to make it to Heavy Armor.
> On the right hand side, you'll find 'General Flags' for the item.
> Right click 'General Flags' and click 'Edit'
> Check 'Heavy Armor'
> Save and exit TES4Edit.

It's been a loooong time since I've had that mod installed, but don't all the wigs already have cloth/light/heavy versions already included?

Cheers, will give it a try in TES4Edit. I've not used that utility before so will download it and give it a try.

I just checked and there are other wigs that have no armour rating but the one I'm using isn't one of them so the only type available has a light armor rating.
