Wearing Clothes
Does anyone else here enjoy the clothing more than the armour? Perhaps a combination of both? I prefer a combination, light/ heavy amour boots, gauntlets, shield and sometimes a helm. I"d like too hear what everyone thinks on this.

Nothing is more hardcore than to see my character and followers in full Daedric Armor but the combined weight is very high so I like to mix and match with normal clothing that I've enchanted. The Advanced Magecraft Mod allows you to copy any existing spell effect and use it for enchanting even if you're not powerful enough to use that spell on your current level.

I never wear any armors as they reduce my spell effectiveness, and most of them covers the appearance of the amulet or rings I'm wearing. Any robes that covers upper and lower body are also out of my interest, since you're essentially wearing one less enchanted equipment if you wear robes instead of shirts and pants.

Although Zealot's Hood from Shivering Isle looks really good with Leather Cuirassthan any shirts. And I do think of the combination with both Heavy and Light Armors. I'm working on a mod to make Chainmail Greaves to look like the female version of its inventort icon; where it looks like a chainmail stocking with suspender belt that shows the wear's skin a little. Thought I have no idea of how to use Nifscope and such.

I mostly play as Female Argonian and there aren't many good looking 'pants' for female character. Most of them turn into skirts, so I had to install a mod that adds bunch of pants for both male and female.

It varies, as I tend to role play it up.

As a result, with the exception of mages (who are pure clothes/robe) I tend to do both armor and clothes, depending on situation/quest/character.

Some are in armor more than others, but most have a set of around town clothes. My assassin, in particular, has a few different sets, as I like to role play, the observation of targets, in different disguises.

I did enjoy a play through I did of a Nord, who is only wearing pants, heavy armour boots, gauntlets and a shield. He has not shirt lol.

If you're a mage, the clothes benefit you more than the armor will at lower levels. So yeah, i'd say I like clothes.

I prefer clothing. That said, I generally start the game by using the Console to set my level to 3 and all attributes/skills to max. There is not much danger of my characters being severely injured

It creates more of a casual adventure feel, so I generally only use armor with appropriate for the narrative situation
