Cursed Armor Explained?
Love this game, absolutely love it, first time playing through with lots of mods and it's the best cRPG I've ever experienced. That said, can someone explain cursed armor, I found some Cursed Boots of Plain Striding in the Shivering Isles that give crazy feather buff but are cursed. The boot stats don't show any negative effects but I'm afraid to put them on LOL.

I believe it is called cursed because every piece of armor comes with two enchantments, one positive and one potentially negative. If the negative enchantment doesn't bother you too much I would say that the armor is safe to use.

This is correct.

The Cursed Boots of Plain Striding you mentioned has Feather and Light effect on it, and I believe Light effect is supposed to be the negative effect, as Light can be your disadvantage if you're sneaking.

Here[en.uesp.net] is the list of armors that are featured exclusively in Shivering Isle, including cursed items.
