When an emperor is crowned, he uses the Amulet to light the Dragonfires at the Temple of the One in the Imperial City. With the Emperor dead and no new heir crowned, the Dragonfires in the Temple will be dark, for the first time in centuries.

You should be proud of what you did here today, but remember, the war is not yet over. Until you reclaim the Amulet and Martin lights the Dragonfires, the enemy will not be truly defeated.
