Is there a mod on nexus that lets you add items to your inventory ingame without having to type in a console command, kind of the like the creative mode inventory in minecraft?

Hm... good question. I don't remember any mod that does that, sadly.

If you're after vanilla items, you can go to the Testing Hall... (just ~coc TestingHall on the console... then ~coc Weye to get out.) there are doors there that lead to rooms that have all the items in the game. You can see them and grab them from there...

Also, there's the mod called Leveler's Cheat (nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/13783)... that adds a house with a set of activators that rise your skills, like you were just leveled them normally.

That mod had a supply of items too... is intened as a quick start when you want to prepare a new character for starting the game at level higher than one, and supply him/her with level appropriate items (IIRC, at least)

Oh... also... there's this OBSE plugin called Console Commands (here -> nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47637) that adds a new command to the game 'help2' similar to the command you'd use in Skyrim... with it you can search items by name, instead of remembering the FormIDs.
