it doesnt matter where you go. If you have a bounty any guard anywhere will arrest you.

Take a look in journal if you have any bounty on you from unintentional stealing something or might have killed friendly NPC. Three hit on friendly NPCd or guards while fighting enemies could cause that you will be reported and get a bounty.

Animal can also report you if you steal/pick wrong horse.

Also you could try hitting the console command button or the `/~ button under ESC and type player.payfine if you're okay with cheating a little. :steammocking:

Unlike in Skyrim, the law system is universal. If you get a bounty anywhere, any guard in any town can arrest you. If it's a small bounty, they won't notice you until you talk to them, for some reason. If it's a large bounty, they run up to you immediately, and it's near impossible to avoid.

Yeah, I accidently incurred a bounty of 2000 for accidently killing 2 guards who walked infront of me while I was attacking in an oblivion gate. I reluctantly went to jail. You just have to be more careful...or kill them.

Killing guards might just increase bounty and in worse case get into more trouble. Disposition is important here as it will trigger even neutral NPC to become hostile and make you into spiraling doom of criminal.

Remember to use yield (hold block and Activate button) when you aggro someone that you did not intended to.

With high enough fame and Disposition you will get cleared of bounty from guards without that threat about going to jail or pay fine.
