Nope because that info is stored in the save filles which is in a seperate folder to the main install folder. When you uninstall it might ask if you want to remove saved games and settings so make sure you say no to any of that or it might delete your saved games. It's been a long time since I uninstalled it so I can't remember if it prompts for that.

Before uninstalling go to C:documents\my games\oblivion\saves (or something like that) and copy the last 20 saves including the last quick and auto saves to a seperate folder. You can use the saved game files in a new install of the game but all the required mods etc need to be installed or it will have a lot of missing content.

Reinstalling might reset the controls so you have to remap them but that doesn't take long.

But wat if i uninstall it on steam and not on the oblivion launcher?

Then the same thing applies: make a copy of that saves folder if you want to be safe.

Okay.... the reason i want to reinstall is because theres a specific save in the game and when i launch the save oblivion keeps crashing....

If you have a saved game that keeps crashing it sounds like it's corrupt so reinstalling isn't going to fix that and just makes a lot of work for you to install everything again.

So how do i fix the corrupt file? (also, couldnt u answer a little earlier?!? ;-;)

You can't fix it. Reload and try again.. If you're using some mods, they could cause the issue.

Im not using mods xd
