When i had the issue in fnv I was directed to this mod
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35868/?
but it doesn't work on windows 10 so couldn't use it, the only way I avoid it is just by restarting the game every time it gets really bad. :/
I went to the Oblivion.ini in Documents/My Games/Oblivion and set "iFPSclamp=0" to "=60". Capping the frame rate at 60 seems to have fully solved this issue for me, so I'm going to assume it will fix it for you, too. Bethesda has a pretty outstanding trackrecord of punishing players for exceeding 60 frames per second.
Haha, this worked for me. 30 gbs of mods/scripts and this was what helped me. Windows 11, 4070ti.
wow, just wanted to comment and say thank you. im still baffeld that this really worked for me. still cant believe it
