The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Unable to move
I can't move at all and I have no animations. My character is stuck in the standing position with no eapons equiped, despite having a shortsword out.

I can jump in place but there is no animation. I can crouch but nothing changes.

Are you over encumbered?

No.
You haven't even opened up your game. How would you know you're not over encumbered?

make sure you aren't over the carryweight for items, and if nothing else works, try loading the most recent save

Do you have a joystick or a controller plugged into your computer? If yes: Disconnect it.

I can remember that I was 217 out of 280 or something idk.
It was the literally the first thing I checked because I've played games like this before...

EDIT: 215 out of 275. Close enough lol.

Not overcumbered and unluckily enough, the previous save is too far back. Kinda hoping for it to be a simple fix. ;_;

I had the controller plugged in lact time I launched the game. I unplugged it because I though that might have been the problem too but it didn't help at the time.

I have just relaunched the game in without the controller and it still hasn't fixed. Any suggestions?

Not a clue. :(

Hmmm... Check your keybindings. Just to be sure.

I checked my key bindings and they were all ok, I even reset them to see if something would change but still unable to move.

It's really weird, I created a new character and I could move fine with no problems.

*Shrugs* Bethesda games for you. Where the bugs make no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense of any kind.

Maybe you are just stuck in an object.
Open console and enter "tcl".
Move to a save position and re-enter.

Is there a way to fast travel in this game? How do I do it? Hopefully that might sort my problem.

Just open the map when outside and click on any discovered location.
Did you ever get an answer or fix? I had this happen to me but it just fixed itself :/
