Hey, I am new to Oblivion and I´ve noticed that my healing spells, like Heal minor wounds, gives me 1 point o HP ... And I am lost, how can I get more healing from spells.

The Heal Minor Wounds recover 10 healthpoints if you are not wearing any armour at low levels. The more armour you wear in which you are not skilled, the more your magic effectivness suffers.
Open up your spellbook and see the value "Spell effectivness: 00%" it should display something like 60% or 70% depending on how much armour you're wearing..

if you set restoration as a major skill, and prioritise intelligence and wisdom, your magicka will increase and you can purchase or craft better healing spells as you advance restoration levels

Here's a list of the healing spells in Oblivion that can be bought from shops. In order to cast the higher level healing spells, the character needs more skill in Restoration. This has the added bonus of making spells cost less Magicka to cast as well.

Heal Minor Wounds is 8hp, and can be cast by anyone. The next highest [and most common] is Heal Major Wounds, which heals 25hp, and requires an Apprentice level in Restoration [i.e. 25 or higher] to cast. Heal Greater Wounds [20 pts for 2 secs or 40hp] requires a Journeyman level in restoration, etc.

On top of this: Spell cost increases at a higher rate than a spell magnitude does. So for e.g. even though Heal Minor Wounds heals 8 hp, it costs 14 base magicka. Heal Major Wounds heals 25 hp [3x the magnitude], but costs 61 base magicka [4x the cost]. So for healing over time, it's more magicka efficient to use LOWER level spells, as they point for point cost less to cast.

Often the character wants to heal themselves quickly, so it's more attractive to use higher level healing spells mid-combat. That said: Potions are far more efficient, at least early on, at healing a character QUICKLY than casting spells are. You are far better using standard Restore Health potions for emergency reserves of health mid fight, and saving your Magicka for other things.

So basically: I'd use potions for healing mid fight, then Heal Minor Wounds to regenerate your character back to full health between fights. If anything this is a good way to naturally increase Restoration skill, and helps keep Magicka in reserve.

Thanks.
