Any Word On An Upcoming Oblivion Multiplayer Mod?
With the fairly recent release of Morrowind Co-op, and the soon-to-be Skyrim Together, it would only be natural for Oblivion to follow in their footsteps with the release of a multiplayer mod for it. So far I haven't heard any word to give attention to developing something for Oblivion, is anyone attempting something like this? I would love to see the same treatment come to Oblivion.

Oblivion, from what I read, is harder to make mods on. From my experience of just installing mods for Oblivion, it was kind of difficult to correctly implement them.

These linked mods are the only ones that come close to that experience.

I don't know how stable they are though.
im suprised morrowind one is quite well , and in 0.7.0 who will fix most bugs will play basicly like "morrowind with multiplayer would"

Ah I see. Shame to see there's not much apparently being done to implement this without having to share a keyboard :(.

The Morrowind project has been doing fantastically, and is super stable and robust. I have been hosting and enjoying it immensely with others. (more welcome too if interested).

Oblivion would be such a blast with others, storming those dungeons and gates with others as a daedra wrecking team.

Skyrim would be fun as all hell to duel other dragonborn, and I need to look into how that project is going of late.

Skyrim together is in closed beta right now and the way to access it is to become a patreon which costs 1$ There is lag tho cuz all the servers are in europe.

I am curious how the server side of that project works, and if it will ever reach a point like TEX3MP where we can host our own servers.

From what I've read we will be able to host our own on release. I think they want everyone to connect to their servers right now for the beta so it's easier to hunt down bugs

That is fantastic news. I have been hosting a Multiplayer Morrowind server and it has been a blast, and Skyrim would be another great one to share with friends and make new ones.
