Do you just mean normal summoning spells? Or something else from a mod?
What would be the point of a ‘script’ to summon a Pet, if the player didn’t have access to decent summons spells/skill at the beginning of the game? And once they did, wouldn’t it be easier just to quickslot a certain summon spell (eg summon Zombie), with the option to change that quickslot later (to say Summon Lich)?
I’m not aware of a ‘summon script’ in any other Bethesda RPG. Can you think of a game that makes use of such a script?
It's old and no longer maintained but it still have a lot of info on Oblivion modding...
With a quick search in it I was able to find (amongs other hits):
https://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=How_To_Create_A_Custom_NPC_Summoning_Spell
That may not be what you want, but it might have something useful for you to understand the mechanics.
EDIT: Here's another interesting tutorial:

Good luck.
Glad to here you found the answer. :)
Sadly, if the article/tutorial was written requiring you to see an image for understanding it, it'll probably be a worthless effort :(
But anyway, good luck with your spell :)
