Best overhaul mod for oblivion?
I remember almost always pick Oscuro overhaul mod and was always more than happy to play it. Few times I picked some other overhaul, cant recall name..

Anyway it was all many years ago so, are there any overhaul worth picking? Maybe small comparison why other instead of OOO?

Nehrim because it really is a total overhual as it contains no trace of the Elder Scrolls.

Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul. Compatible with almost everything unlike other overhauls like OOO/FCOM. Very easy to install and has a lot of nice features, as well as new creatures, weapons etc.

I second the suggestion of Maskar's Overhaul... I still play it together with OOO myself because I like OOO quests and weapons... but it's totally usable solo and has tons of features.

MOO,
or my personal favorite - make Oblivion to a jungle world. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=971312438
