Installing OR, can't find oblivion.ini
TL;DR Can't find oblivion.ini, already tried a few things, help?

I'm trying follow the steps for installing oblivion reloaded, and I can't find oblivion.ini in order to change recommended settings. I've unselected "hide extensions for know file types" in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion folder, and searched for it in my whole C: drive to no avail. I've run the game multiple times, changed the graphics settings, and is all working normally, but it still does not appear in the folder. There is the oblivion_default.ini, but I don't want to mess with that. I have verifired the local files through steam. I have got the official and unofficial patches and DLC, have installed oblivion script extender and the blockhead plugin in preparation for some other mods I want, and I also have DarNified UI. The further problem is there are settings required by OR that are not in the default .ini:
iPostProcessMillisecondsLoadingQueuedPriority=
iPostProcessMilliseconds=
iShadowMapResolution=
iPreloadSizeLimit=
fHorseRunGravity=
fLODTreeMipMapLODBias=
fLocalTreeMipMapLODBias=
Do I just continue installing OR and hope the .ini file will pop up eventually? Am I missing something obvious?

The .ini file is located in ../Documents/My Games/Oblivion and should've been automatically generated when you first launched the game. Check to see if there's a 'Configuration setting' file type. That's the one you need to change.

If the file isn't there, try changing some of the options in the launcher. This is unlikely to have been caused by any mods or your install setup.. the .ini is specific to the base game. (It's generally not affected by mods or used as a dependency.)

If that doesn't work, you can make a copy of the default .ini and make the changes once it's been pasted into ../My Games/Oblivion. It's there as a backup for this kind of situation.

You can also get the original settings here.
