Spell Absorbtion and Spell Reflect together?
My character has spell absorbtion thanks to the atronach birth sign, which gives Spell Absorbtion 50 points. If I wear a ring that has spell reflection, does that override the spell absorbtion and give me less of a chance to absorb a spell?

Atronach sign gives you a weakness (Stunted Magicka)......and prevents "standard" magicka regeneration,if you have rings/amulets that boost reflection i'd imagine they'd override your Birthsign....i'm guessing...go find a Will o Wisp and test it out

There is a priority in which they process, but I forget the order.

I think spell absorption will process first. Reflect magicka is next and magic resistance is last, but I could be wrong.

So I can have them both together? Like if reflect spell is at a higher percentage than absorb, can they both still happen? I'm terrible at trying to explain what I mean

http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Magical_Effects#Reflect_vs._Absorb_vs._Resist

They all stack, and the order they are counted is: Absorption, then if that fails Reflect, then if that fails Resist.

Wearing a spell reflect ring does not alter spell absorption percentage, and the order is independent of the percentage you have of each. So for e.g. if you have 50% absorb from Atronach, 90% reflect from various sources, and 100% resist magic, then 50% absorb will always be calculated first, followed by 90% reflect, and in the event that fails then the 100% resist magic will block the spell.

In general, if you have questions about an Elder Scrolls game, consult UESP. All ze knowledge is there. :)
