Way to not zoom when in dialog?
Howdy yall, I got this game after I played skyrim, it's good, but is there anyway or a mod to disable the zoom in when initiating a dialog?

IIRC, there's an ini setting that controls the zoom level during dialogues. It's been a awhile though, and it never bothered me enough to look into it anyway, so I could be mistaken about that. I just seem to recall reading about it at some point.

You can increase the fdlgFocus (or something like that ...) value in your oblivion.ini file. The zoom will decrease.

The setting is in your ini file, which can be found in Documents/My Games/Oblivion.

fDlgFocus does reduce the zoom, but it can't be eliminated entirely using that cvar

the only thing i know of that does away with the zoom entirely is oblivion reloaded's camera-mode, but that has it's own share of potential drawbacks, most commonly the nauseating headbob

I set the Focus to 5.1 and it's just a slight zoom, just enough to let you know you're in dialog. I always hated that it zoomed right into their face.

It even works for the intro cell scene.

Never occured to me that the game had an internal setting for it. I take it back, this is even better.
