Frostcrag spire isnt in my GOTY Edition?!?

so i just went out to go to Frostcrag but like it isnt where it should be why?!?

I think it is in the GOTY Deluxe edition and not in the GOTY edition.

To be sure check in the Oblivion Data folder if you have a DLCFrostcrag file or not.

You should have gotten a note and a key when leaving the sewers at the start of the game if you have that dlc. It is included in the GOTY Deluxe version of Oblivion.

i have the deluxe GOTY edition ill go into my folder and see if i have it if not should i delete and redownload it?

Did you find it? If you have the GOTY edition, you should have the Wizard's Tower (Frostcrag Spire) DLC in your DLC List. Don't listen to people like that guy ^^^. The Oblivion PC community could always use more people.

start oblivion, go to data files, make sure everything is checked, the oblivion esm master file doesn't have to be checked but I don't know why.

I guess I was being a bit harsh. I apologize. Still, I meant what I posted, that's something all computers users should know how to do. But I'll admit I could have been a lot more diplomatic about it.

sorry bud, but i hope you enjoy trying to bring others down, its not that i dont know much about pcs its that i dont spend all day everyday gaming ive got a life and job

i found the data file but it says i have it and i even got the deluxe GOTY edition, but it still isnt popping up and you should read my reply to him

yes it should be something to be known, but the thing is that if we are looking at it in the view youre saying then lets say you ask something about math, or athletics, and i know that questions answer would it be right to assume EVERYONE should know it? or should i possibly just help someone who doesnt have this knowledge and give them the knowledge to further their education in that field?

It has nothing to do with gaming, that's basic computer operation. When you drive a car, you know the difference between your gas and brake pedal don't you? And you know how to use your transmission to shift from forward to reverse. It's the same sort of thing when using computers. As for your analogy about math, everyone knows that 2 + 2 = 4. That's just how basic knowing how to access a computer folder is.

no it is not basic computer knowledge. basic computer knowledge is what people who buy prebuilt pcs from walmart have. they can turn on the pc and open a web browser, play a dvd, download something from itunes, watch youtube. basic computer knowledge is something that everyone knows despite how long they have been using a pc. think of it in the alchemy stuff on oblivion, novice, apprentice, journymen, expert, master. basic knowledge is novice and everyone knows how to do it. so where do you think "how do you open up data folder for oblivion" lies? not basic knowledge at all. maybe apprentice level but no higher or lower.
