Effective Levelling as a warrior.
I'm planning an making a warrior, focusing on Strenght, Endurance, Speed and Luck.

My question is, how should I handle the leveling (which stats should I level up first) and which stats should I use for my main stats to control levelling.

Main Skill: Armorer, Blunt or Blade, Conjuration, Alteration, Restoration, Marksman, Mysticism
So you can controll +5 point with minor skills.

speed will inherently reduce the time it takes to do everything, so possibly that and strength for the damage/carry capacity

For Warrior Endurance is most important.
And he says Luck. If we forcus on Luck, we must +1 every level.
That means str and speed is 2nd group to raise

Or better yet, use Realistic Leveling http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/13879/?
This mod will allow you to focus on game and have actual fun instead of efficient leveling and jumping under the roof/sneaking into walls for hours to get those +5 to attributes and finishing game with same all-maxed-skills-super-boring-class every time.
Just saying.

Trouble is, as a Warrior you want to get +5 to Strength and Endurance when you level, but the default Warrior class gets screwed because it has all three Strength skills and all three Endurance skills as majors, so you can't get both. (You need to gain ten points in skills related to an attribute to get a +5 to it at your next level, but ten points in major skills levels you up.) Try not having all three skills for the same attribute as major skills, so you can use the minor skills to grind a few more points toward getting your +5 when needed. This advice also applies to other classes, they just have different skills and attributes to worry about.

But you don't need to get +5 everytime you level? And, contrary to popular belief, it isn't even effecient. The only major problems with Oblivion's level system is that you gain experiance too fast both in comparison to Morrowind but also for what you have, as well as the fact that they took away the ability to sleep on the ground so long as you were not trespassing or loitering.

The +5 attribute increases is just nonsensical power gaming to ultimately waste later level ups. You can do what you want, of course, but it's more "effecient" to aim for 3s and 2 more often than not.

Except that almost everyone who plays oblivion ends up caring about effiecient leveling at some point. It's really hard to avoid it when you know that you could be stronger if you jump under the roof for 5 minutes and get another +5 to attributes. And then you could spam 1% 1 second long shield spell to get another +5 and so on...
