The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

How to access all DLC
The steam store says I own both the GOTY and the Deluxe GO TY editions, but regardless of which one I tell it to download, it never gives me the files for the additional DLC, just the SI and NotN. I can't contact customer support for the game from steam for some reason, it just tells me to go to the developer website even though I'm not having a problem with the game itself. I can't go through the missing DLC route since the DLC is packaged in with the game rather than counting as DLC. Anyone have any idea what I can do? I can't even buy another copy of the Deluxe edition since it says I already own it and won't get another copy.

Well it says you have no game time so you haven't even played it yet.
Play it, the DLC loads after 24Hrs have passed in-game.

It's a shame so many of the people who try to be helpful are just so useless. Steam doesn't, and never has recorded game time accurately. It doesn't record offline play at all. When you start the game there's a launcher and in the launcher you can view and select the plugin files. I'm not stupid so I know what plugins should be there and they're not there. Only the master file and the two main DLC plugins are.

OP: is inept and can't figure out how to remove the non-deluxe edition from their library

responder: tries to help

OP: calls responder useless

thanks for the laugh, hope you figured out how to get it installed

Where in the game are you? If you do have the extra DLCs, you'll get an in-game message about them soon after you leave the beginning sewer.

If I was inept I wouldn't know how to check the data files to see that the DLC aren't there. I don't want to remove the game from my library if I don't have to and the responder wasn't trying to help unless you think sarcasm is helpful, which, apparently, you probably do.

I have the Deluxe edition on Xbox so I know how it's supposed to work it's just not working here. As well you can check in the launcher on the PC and the main menu on Xbox what DLC are installed and it will show all of the DLC files, which aren't showing up here.

Did you try contacting support through a web browser and not the steam client software?

If all else fail you could get the game on gog.com.

You cannot access those DLCs.

When you buy The Elder Srolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition, steam will tell you that you own both GOTY and GOTY Deluxe editions. It is bug but it's been there for many years, so I don't think anything will change anytime soon.

I did buy the same version (GOTY) as you did and never had those dlcs. When you try to buy Deluxe edition it says you already have Game of the Year edition and you might only get gift copy.

Buy it on gog.com instead...

Okay that's what it is. Is it fully updated on GOG? I've been thinking about switching to it but they don't have as many games.

I bought the DELUXE GOTY version as well, logged about 244 hours into it and never did the other DLC's show up. I tried contacting STEAM about it on many occasions and never received any help. I have played the other DLC's before and am aware of how to access them. They are just not here.

How did you contact them? The "support" section just tells me they can't help me and doesn't even give me an option to contact anyone

Did you try to verify the cache?
