Lighting bug

I've got a problem with my torches. As seen on the screenshots in the link, When i equip a torch (which i can't do, i can only drop them and carry around with 'z' key) it works normally, but after i walk around a bit and get to a new 'grid' the torch stops working and doesn;t provide any light, I have to drop another torch so it will work in a new 'grid' of the map. My mods are as follows:
darnified ui
deadly reflex
drop lit torches
engine bugfixes
natural environments
nifse
oblivion reloaded
oblivion script extender
oblivion stutter remover
oscuros oblivion overhaul
shademe
unofficial oblivion patch
4gb patch plus optimization

I tried to edit .ini's of the mods i have but nothing seems to work. Also I have a problem with blur. My game is a blurry mess 50% of the time. I have it disabled in Oblivion overhaul.ini but something is still causing the blur. Thanks in advance ^^

Finally I find someone with the exact same problem but sadly I still see no answer. It has to be a mod but unable to pinpoint which one, I have created a new profile thats clean in mod organizer and will try one by one to isolate this.

I've fixed it after sometime. I think it was Oblivion Reloaded. The one that adds shields worn on the back. It's incompatible with torches.

Yes you are correct, I have talked to the creators of Oblivion Reloaded and there may be a solution, in fact I just loaded steam to test the fix. Are you saying to stopped using OR or just disabled part of it? There is no denying the game looks better with it.

For what its worth, the portion of oblivion reloaded that has you holster your shield is very, very bugged atm. I was able to play with these settings on for a small amount of time before game breaking bugs appeared. It might be a problem with darnified ui and oblivion reloaded.

Yes I disabled equipment mode in the OblivionReloaded.ini and now have a normal torch.

How do disable the equipment mode. (Its been a long time since I have played this and installed all the mods, so I have no idea how to do it.)

I figured it out. Its amazing what happens when one reads the directions!!! I really need to remember that.

For anyone else like me who does not want to read the directions for the mod, go to Data\OBSE\plugins\OblivionReloaded.ini and then open it with notepad and find where is says equipment and change the value from 1 to 0, then save the file.
