Oblivion: Skipable Tutorial + Starting City Option or Alternate Start ?

please share with me which and why you would choose. Both seem good options to the vanilla beginning.

Have you experienced conflicts with other mods or add-ons?

Personally, I've never understood tutorial skip mods for Oblivion. Morrowind, sure, as it's "tutorial" is a joke, but Oblivion's I felt was well staged.
