Oblivion CTD's [FIXED]:
My oblivion crashes on three occasions (Maybe more):

load order and stuff.


1. Starting a new game. The loading bar will load, but then it will crash right away before the intro plays.

2. pressing my wait button (It doesn't show the menu pop-up for how long i want to wait, it just... crashes.)

3. collecting more than three arrows. The Prompt to ask me if i want to pick up all three or just a select amount of arrows does not show up, instead I'm presented with a black window and a CTD.

Im now assuming its my UI mod... after removing the MenuQue OBSE plugin, it started to work! But the problem is: I wanna be able to use DarnUI!

[Edit]: FIXED!

Found out that the way i installed it using MO sorta made problems with file paths for the DarnUI, so thats why only selectively some menu prompts like "How much?" when picking up more than one item, the waiting sliding menu and also even starting a new game caused CTD's. How did i fix it you may ask? I installed the Darkified DarnUI http://www.nexusmods...?id=11280&pUp=1

manually! After reading the instructions and adjusting the Oblivion.ini as needed, i went into my game with a working menus and also DarnUI! That now doesn't crash when i want to wait! I never thought id miss those annoying screens prompting you how much you want to drop or pick up... lesson learned: Don't follow two year old guides, some mods are broken, and learn to install mods MANUALLY!

what all are your mods,and in what order?

are any of them missing a requirement of some sort?

I use MO and obmm to manage my mods. Ive avoided BOSS and TES4Edit, but use Loot if need be to organize anything. I also ahve back ups of my files, so if things can be changed i cna typically do it fast and get back to you.

from what it looks like to me,you have unofficial Patches (i guess they are patches,i can't see their full name),without the DLCs active

i would say that you either

remove/uncheck those patches as you don't have the DLCs

or

the DLCs aren't showing up for an unspecified reason,even though they should show up as they would be active,if they are

one more thing you could try is verifying the game cache,as it would check for any missing files within the base game and it's official DLCs

Oh sorry, i forgot to mention that to: im modding GOTY special edition xD so the patches were installed for that reason, my bad, sorry in advance.

I sorta just took a screenshot only of the mod order (i excluded the dlc's, ill remmeber not to do that next time for it will cause confusion).

yeah,would be better to let people know whether or not you have the master files needed for your other mods or not

again,i would suggest verifying your game cache,and ensuring that you have everything needed for whatever UI mod it is that your using,as well as ensuring you installed OBSE correctly

perhaps another mod is conflicting with your UI mod,as i dont know all of your mod's effects and changes,i can't tell you which one is conflicting with what,if at all

Hmm alright. Ill give it a go by testing a few fixes that could possibly work along with debugging by unistalling some mods.
Ive tested OBSE before, so i know thats all settled, it just for some reason hates it when im trying to get a prompt screen from the game like the waiting slider, or the prompt for when i want to get more than one item. I might start with DarnUI first.

it could very well be the UI mod all by itself,it might not of installed properly,or its files might not of all been downloaded or placed correctly

wasn't sure what exactly you meant by "what the font file should look like for DarnUI",so i guess this is what your looking for?

SFontFile_1 will depend on your choice (see 4.4).

4. Custom options (custom_files folder)

4.1: If you're using AF/KCAS/Realistic Leveling for leveling, copy KCAS_levelup_menu.xml to "Data\menus". Remove the KCAS_ prefix. Set the "_KCAS" setting in stats_config.xml to &true;.
4.2: The classic inventory can be installed by copying the contents of the "classic_inventory" folder to the "Data" folder.
4.3: If you're using Trollf's "Loading Screens Themed Replacer", copy trollf_loading_menu.xml to the "Data\menus" folder. Remove the trollf_ prefix.
4.4: The fonts folder has a selection of fonts suitable for replacing font 1 (preview included). Copy the desired .fnt and .tex pair to "Data\fonts", and edit the ini.
4.5 For the "No Quest Added popup" option, copy empty.xml to "Data\menus\generic", and name it quest_added.xml.
