white ghost outline around dark areas/ figures
Hey guys this is more of a general question. It is most prevelant in this game but if I am in a dark area and you look closely at a character or even an object there is a weird white outline that will kind of bleed as you look at it. This only happens when I am moving though. It kind of happens in my other games but you need to look carefully. Is this maybe just a monitior setting? I recently switched from a 60 hz to 144 hz monitor and did not notice until now.

It's just a monitor quirk. I have a 60hz monitor and I know what you're talking about. I see it mostly in The Binding of Isaac a lot.

I think its ghosting. I turned my "trace free" down to 0 and it seemed to solve this problem. do you have any other recommndations. I'm fairly new to pc gaming and i am wondering what they optimal setting would be for this. I have read 40 but im not sure

zero seems to be the best setting for my monitor as I have completely resolved the problem but I dont know if having this setting off affects performance

Cue Twilight Zone theme...
It's not a glitch. Your monitor is haunted - turn it off and never turn it on again lest - no - I.....
