The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (2009)

Which vampire mods to use?
I'm looking at LTD - Vampire overhaul and I notice a lot of people seem to have problems with it - though I wonder if part of it is because they installed it with NMM (which seems to cause problems with older Oblivion mods) or what

Vampire Revolution looks like another good one, but I don't like the weakness to garlic added in - that makes Vincente's weakness to garlic less special/funny.

Having a bit of difficulty sifting through the others to see which ones are good and which ones are not.

I dislike the backwards system that vanilla Vampires use (If you're gonna do a "stronger as you get hungry" thing, you're better off doing it like Vampire the Masquerade where you go into an uncontrollable frenzy if you get too hungry, but blood still strengthens you.) but I don't want to simply reverse it either.

For reference's sake, I tend to favor "Better Vampires" for Skyrim and "Vampire Embrace" + "Vampire Realism II" for Morrowind.

It's almost like that's the exact problem I'm trying to solve.

I wanted to use vampirism mods before, but I deemed them all too crappy, since they make the player a godlike figure by giving him some ridiuclous power ups.. The Cyrodiilic vampires are very enigmatic, since they have the ability to blend within society without any issues. Judging by lore, the Cyrodiilic vampires are the hardest to find.

I'm gonna be blunt and say that being a vampire *should* make you more powerful than being a human, at the cost of the downsides that you experience.

Anyways, I'm bumping this up because I want new eyes to see it and help me with this issue.

I wish I could figure out how to modify sun damage. But I can't find what record to modify in the Construction Set. I mean I know how to remove sun damage or modify how much damage it does, but that is not what I want.

I want to be able to modify how sun damage works and I can't seem to find out where to do that.

What is it you want to be able to make sun damage do?

Sorry for double posting but I don't want to hijack a reply by adding onto it:

This is Nekhanimals Awesome Vampire Mod, something I've seen recommended as much as Vampire Revolution and LTD Vampire Overhaul (though it took me a bit to find it)

I'm thinking I should give this one a go, actually. Anyone have any input on it?
