Some Texture Mods Not Working
I've been spending the last few days heavilly modding oblivion and i started noticing that some of my texture mods are not working I cannot figure out why. They're installed properly. I've even tried reinstalling the game and installing just the texture replacers one at a time and cannot get some of them to work. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/46579/? that is one of the mods i am using and it's installation process is the same as the other mods that arn't working. Just simply drag the texture folder into the oblivion data folder and it shoudl replace the texture but it dosen't. It actually looks like it's making the texture lower resolution but i'm not sure oblivion had such low resolution texture that it's hard to tell if it's gotten any worse.

No ideas?

You probably need to install Oblivion Mod Manager OBMM and run Archive Invalidation.

Launch OBMM, go to Utilities, Archive Invalidation, set BSA Redirection, and hit update now.

I just found out about archive invalidations from another porblem i was having. I was doing some test to see if it was the solution to all my texture problems.

The archive invalidations seams to be really random sometimes it fixes my textures sometime it does nothing. i managed to get the ayleid ruin texture replacer to work once but now it won't work anymore. I'vre tired using both the invalidator in obmm and another one found on the nexus.

You don't need to use both, just one will do. It might even be causing you some problems having both running. Also make sure how you're installing textures. If you have two textures that alter the same object, then the second one you install will be the one that shows up in the game.

Another thing you can try if you continue to have problems is to reset the BSA timestamps. It is another option in the archive invalidation section of OBMM.
