I have the GoTY Oblivion. If I want a "Morrowind" Experience should I get Morroblivion or the Morrowind Overhaul? granted I do want a better expereince overall as well(contradictions OP). so the REAL
question is, does Morroblicion take away Morrowind being Morrowind, or could I still get my experience with that over the overhaul.

This becuase i wanna say that i run Skyrim on ultra with tons of mods and i run it just fine, and today i was so exited because i would install morrowind and play it for the first time, but

playthrough. The reason skyrim is so good is because it is fully accessible from the start, but retains that morrowind-style difficulty arc where too much exploration without adequate preparations can get you
killed rather easily. Great game, I still kinda wish that the nerevarine had developed map skills, though you never know.

Every time I try to start it, I get "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect"

I originally had it in the Steam folder for
Morrowind, but then tried the old school "Bethesda > Morrowind" folder.

I installed the overhaul the moment I got the game and before hand, didn't realize that the game didn't come with map markers......and so I assumed the markers in-game were vanilla. My current map-markers are bugged out so that they are WAYYYY off position and I want to fix the issue. Now that I know the overhaul added the markers, I wanna know where the best place to look for bug fixes on the matter would be. A simple google search hasnt boded the results I want.

Skyrim was my first Elder Scrolls game and I like it a ton. I've beaten the game and its DLC, and I thought that I might go back and experience Oblivion or Morrowind. I would like to get both, so
or gameplay, and I have heard that Morrowind's combat, for lack of a better term, sucks, so if you could explain its combat to me, that would be great.
