CHEAT CODES AREN'T WORKING ANY IDEAS?

CAN'T get console codes to work.Get message "script syswindow compile and run item daedric_katana was not found on line 1. compiled script not savrd.Tried to uninstall and restall with and without tribunal & bloodmoon.looked in constructtion set.

Bad syntax. You don't want a daedric_katana (they don't exist) you want a daedric katana:

player->additem "daedric katana" 1

Seriously, you use the console to spawn a daedric katana? While they are quite common to grab. Dremora Lords wield them sometimes and Aureals (golden saints) too. Also, you can get one early in the game and all you have to do is to find the Vassir-Didanat mine and then find Dram Bero. Next to that you can find a daedric dai-katana (2 handed katana) at the Dren Plantation, although it doesn't go without a fight. Stop using the console and start playing already.

Let him play the game his way. He's not making you play that way. I don't much like cheating myself either since there's no challenge at all, but I know some commands from building and testing my own plugins (mods) so there's no reason I can't help out, lol.

Not much of a spoiler: You just have to memorize you're lines, or right them down :P

all ready played game once and did the mine thing just wanted to start out with some good equipment and play again with graphics mod.but haven't got 3.0 mod to work.THANKS guys.
