The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Xbox vs PC
I own the xbox 360 and i love playing Elder scrolls V: skyrim. I recently got Oblivion for the PC and i love that very much so far. A friend reccomended I play Morrowind. I am almost certain i will love it. I am an avid Ebay buyer and when i was looking for morrowind it seemed that the PC version was going for more money than the xbox version. I was just wondering is it worth it to dish out the extra cash?

Get it on steam easier to mod...

Well you would need a old X-Box wouldn't you?
Furthermore the X-Box version isn't moddable which is a huge lost and it's full of bugs that only where fixed in the PC version (at last via Patch mods).
You can get a steam key on the internet much cheaper than on Valves retail store....

PC, even if it's only for the mods. The layout is made for PC, too, unlike the other TES games.

I'd also vote for PC. The game comes with (limited) built-in gamepad support if that's important to you. As others mentioned, it's all about the Mods.

i wouldn't say the xbox version can't be modded. it can be, but only if you have a modded xbox, and modify the files on the hard disk. it's a pain in the rear, but it can be done.

the pc version is just much easier to work with, that and well...

OVERHAUL mod. 'nuff said.

my vote goes for PC as well.

I could never get the overhaul to work, actually. Loved the game without. I adore crap graphics.

There's pros and cons. I'm in a minority that has no interest in mods. The Xbox version lacks improvements made to the game's journal which were added in the last PC patch. It's also prone to crashes and lockups.

But there's something nice about playing it on a console. Can't put my finger on it. I like both versions for different reasons. Note though, the GOTY version for Xbox sells for quite a bit new. I paid $85 for mine.

i've played through oblivion and skyrim on both xbox 360 and pc, i'm struggling to get into morrowind, but as for pc or xbox both games in my opinion run better on console, i can't say anything about how morrowind runs on console, it runs pretty sweet on pc tho

You mean it runs better than YOUR PC. I run these games at 1920x1080 resolution and with 60 frames per second with high texture graphic mods.

There is no contest when you have the right equipment.

what i mean by that was oblivion and skyrim are less problematic on consoles, was for me anyway, half the stuff i've noticed since being on pc i didn't even know exsisted

If you have a crap graphics card like me, get the higher-res games on console, and everything else on PC.
