New journal? [Tribunal]

Hello!

I saw a few screenshots of the new journal system with greyed out quests. Imo this is a great improvement but when I started playing and did a few simple quests, like killing rats for the warrior guild or fagoths ring, these quests still occur as open.
After 4 hours of playing my journal is confusing like the vanilla.

What's wrong? Any ideas?

I'm sure Tribunal and Bloodmoon are loading correctly, because I can ask for Solstheim and I can arrange my quests in 'All' and 'Open'.

That's a very strange problem. Firstly: Have you checked that you really completed the quests?
Furthermore you can check the Journal State of the quest via the console:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:GetJournalIndex
The needed JournalID's can also be found at UESP on the specific quest pages.
There you can also look up if your quest state is really completed or should be (green marker) ;)

thank you for your answer. I checked the Rat Hunt Quest. It's index is 105.00 what means that the quest is finished.
The journal is getting very confusing :/

What version of Morrowind do you have? There was a specific order that the expansions needed to be installed in but if you have the steam version that shouldn't be the case.

UPDATE: I know what the problem is but I couldn't solve it.
The problem is that I'm using german language. If I install the game in english it solves the problem with the journal.
I found only one post in the internet that describes exactly this problem but nobody had an idea what's wrong.

Das ist aber auch ziemlich ungewöhnlich. Um ehrlich zu sein gibts keinen guten Grund dafür.... ;)
Aber mit der Englischen Fassung wirst du sowieso mehr Spaß habe. Die Mods sind deutlich neuer und es gibt Tamriel Rebuild :)

Jupp, hatte bis gerade eben dasselbe Problem.

Google: Journal Fix 1.1
Runterladen (Ubisoft, PC-Games-Homepage)
NICHT wie im Readme beschrieben in Morrowind-Ordner packen, sondern in Morrowind/Data Files
Dann im Launcher auswählen und genießen!

Macht dieses Patch die Quests von Bloodmoon reparieren, und macht es auch mit anderen Questing-Mods funktionieren?
