You can find some good stuff in

Marvani Ancestral Tomb - Daedric Face of God, Daedric Warhammer and other stuff

and good defensive Jewelry to wear in

Drethan Ancestral Tomb - Marara's Ring (Very Tough at least for me at level 4)
Nammu - Ring of the Wind
Falas Ancestral Tomb - Denstegmer's Ring
Senim Ancestral Tomb - Ring of Phynaster
Samarys Ancestral Tomb - Mentor's Ring
Berandas - Boots of the Apostle, Daedric Dagger and Spear.

I just restarted the game and began by joining the House Telvanni to get some of the useful items they offer specifically the Ring of Toxic Cloud so I could defeat Marara at such an early level because she is very hard with her punching and knocking you to the ground constantly. But her ring is very nice for such a low level character. The Amulet of Admonition was also useful fighting the harder enemies in some of those places.

Somewhere along the way I also received a scroll that can open a 100 point lock. I need to do some research and find out what the best item I can get with it. I know Tel Fyr has a few good items up at the top that includes the Cuirass of the Savior's Hide which will be quite useful for me when using the boots of blinding speed.

Marara's Ring - Reflect 20%, Fortify Acrobatics 10 pts, Resist Normal Weapons 40%
Ring of the Wind - Agility +30
Denstagmer's Ring - Fire, Shock, Frost Resist 30%
Ring of Phynaster - Resist Poison, Resist Shock, Resist Magicka 20%
Mentor's Ring - Fortify Intelligence 10, fortify Willpower 10

They all have Constant effects and don't need charges.

Boots of the Apostle - Levitate 30-40 pts for 30 seconds. 5 charges.

These boots are very useful. They allow you to get to places you normally wouldn't be able to reach such as the Daedric Face of god and Daedric Warhammer in the Marvani Ancestral Tomb.

Blade of the Frost Monarch is in a fortress in the Sheogorad region on the island Dagon Fel is on. It has a frost damage enchantment.

Umbra is north of Suran.

The Masque of Clavicus Vile is in Sorkveld (I'm sure I haven't spelled this right) the Raven's lair near Dagon Fel, there are also some really rare books and a few daedric items (no armor).

Ilunibi has the fist of Randgulf, they are hidden behind some stuff but very worth it, Ilunibi is a major quest location.

If you can find a 6th house base take the bell hammer, it's a good weapon and is worth 5000, also if you come across any 6th House amulets they are incredibly valuble in bulk and easy to carry, don't use them though they are cursed. The ruins with the best stuff are in the Ghost Fence in the area surrounding the Red Mountain.

Have you fought the crazy woman in Mournhold yet? That quest yeilds full high ordiniator armor, full or nearly full glass armor, the Mace of Slurring and an incredibly rare unenchanted daedric bow.

The Lord's Mail is in a cave in the water off Ebonheart, along with a demon katana, and a glass dagger.

If you progress through the Mage's Guild quest line in Balmora, until you receive Ajira's second quest, where you plant a fake soul gem in Galbedir's desk, you can loot various soul gems that are insanely highly valued from the top of her desk (and one inside it). You can find a Grand Soul Gem (Wing Twilight) worth 60,000 gold, a Greater Soul Gem (Dremora) worth 6,000, a limeware plate worth 650, a Lesser Soul Gem (Blighted Kagouti) worth 400, a Lesser Soul Gem (Guar) worth 400, two Lesser Soul Gem (empty) worth 20 each (one is inside the desk), a Common Soul Gem (Ogrim Titan) worth 2800, a Common Soul Gem (Skeletal Warrior) worth 1200, a Petty Soul Gem (Alit) worth 200, a Petty Soul Gem (Rat) worth 100, and a Petty Soul Gem (Skeletal Warrior) worth 300. Together they have a toal value of 72,090, though it is impossible to get full value for the Grand Soul Gem, as even the Mudcrab Merchant has only 10,000 gold.

It is not impossible to get full value for items. You just have to have alot of money, and the merchant has to have several items of value counting any items you have already sold the NPC in the past.

Buy several items from the NPC to increase how much gold the NPC has, then once the npc has enough gold sell them your expensive item. Then slowly sell back the lower priced items you bought from the NPC over the next few days.

That way you can always get full value for the things you sell and maybe have some items to sell daily so you're always making money.

There so much money in this game and so little that is worth buying that this is just a waste of time (unless you are roleplaying a penny pincher).
