Report a translation problem
Don't take a ton of quests at once. Skyrim makes this (too) easy, but Morrowind will get confusing if you load up the journal. There's also a Quests tab in the journal that's a bit easier to follow. Each quest will show all of the info you have for that quest, including directions.
Related to above: ask every question you can regarding the quest from the quest giver. That will add more info to your journal and allow you to find things a bit easier.
Hopefully you won't give up on it, it's worth getting used to. If it's not working for you though, hope you enjoy Oblivion.
Can't stress this enough.
Another thing, find someone that can train you in Athletics. Training is cheap at low levels and much better than grinding for hours. A spell that recovers Stamina should be cheap and easy to cast as well, you can't do anything right with low stamina.
