Edd "Fast Eddie" Theman and the 2nd task

Being the new head of the Telvanis, with Edd in the council, I got the ring from him but the 2nd task does not appear as an option. I ask about chores, and all he does is ask what I want, and none of the other dialogue options trigger the 2nd task.

Anyone know how to get the fetch chore started?

You many have to start it through the Journal console command, as I don't believe there's any other way start that quest once you reach that rank. For this quest, that would be the following: Journal, "HT_EddieAmulet" 10. Of course, save your game first.

Thanks. I just tried but no luck. The journal entry appears but that's it.

I believe once you become the head of the telvanni you lose access to your mouth's side quests. You need to do them before you become the leader

I just found out that this must be it! I used the console
pclowerrank "telvanni"
and the task started. I then went back to my office with
pcraiserank "telvanni"
