Are the books in the game worth reading?

Im always picking up books in the game but I never read them. Do they have interesting stories or content in them?

Some of them do, some of them don't. If you want to learn more about the history of Morrowind as well as some Elder Scrolls lore, then give em a read.

Most of them are just fluff; I find it interesting to read them or at least skim them just out of curiosity. Some of them, however, will include bits and pieces of information that, if you remember them, can prove useful later on. Morrowind is much more of a traditional RPG than its sequels; skipping sources of information out of impatience can hurt you in the long run.

The first book you should read is "The Lusty Argonian Maid".

Yes, TLAM is a wellspring of information and will prove pivotal in your enjoyment of the game experience.

The uncensored version of "The Real Barenziah" is also fun if you want to read about canon Dark Elf / Khajiit erotic fanfiction.

I can really recommend reading most of the short stories, like "The Locked Room".
There are even whole volumes of stories like "2920, The Last Year of the First Era" (epic!)
or "A Dance in Fire". These are well worth your time imho. Some of them are really funny as well and you learn a lot about the TES universe.

Of course! The books are very interesting. They can show u some LORE parts, which u can't learn urself

i found kind of interesting corps preperation... sad though, so necromancy lore, but no chance in game actualy do so... and read about vampires.... can pick unhealty intrest....

Yes, reading the books is certianly something to do. Withershins for example is a pretty fun one.
