um i saw that fixed one as well but don't know how to apply it. i'll try it though.

well i got the fixed version, and it opens the editor just not with anything there because it doesn't see any esm or esps in it. going to try playing morrowind and then see if that helps. though i probably need to use the disc i think to get the stuff to edit or modify

You need to install the TESCS Fixed version in your Morrowind folder, which for Steam would be under Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Morrowind

After that, when you load the CS, you should see the .esm files when you go to File->Data Files in the upper left-hand corner.

Now one thing you might want to use the disk for (if you have it) is for new object creation. With the CS disk you'll be able to grab a mesh/icon to use with a new object straight from the disk. Otherwise, you'll need to unpack Morrowind's BSA files to do the same thing with the Steam version, and you can find a BSA Unpacker here: http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/12189/?

um darkelfguy, i put the construction kit in the place you said, but it is still not locating the morrowind, bloodmoon, and tribunal master files. i know they are in the data files but i can't get them to see them in the cs when i click on data files in the cs the window pops up but they are not there. might try and verify game cache or uninstalling both again. but for the life of me i don't know what to do.

Are you sure you unpacked everything from the TESCS zip archive into the Morrowind directory? It should have asked you to overwrite some stuff (such as the Data Files folder), and you should hit yes for that.

I tried installing it just two days ago, so I know it works perfectly with the Steam version.

i hit a lot of yes messages it said data files and a few icons and read me but i'll try uninstalling and reinstalling i used 7zip to unpack it to the directory i have morrowind in, and even replaced the cs icon keep in mind that i moved the cs icon from that folder and moved it to my desktop, i wonder if that is the case?

hmm re installed and stuff and tried the construction set icon while it was still in folder it worked, so i made a shortcut to put on my desktop and that worked too. now if i can edit a few things of base game i might be fine.
