Game recorder
So I'm trying to do a Let's Play of Morrowind, and I can't get my recorder, Loilo Game Recorder, to record the game. Any ideas?

I've always used Fraps for recording Morrowind. It isn't the best thing out there and it can be a bit of a resource hog from time to time, but it works for me.

Open Broadcast Software will let you record or stream your games. Doesn't really seem to have much of a performance hit and you don't have any limit on how long you can record. Its what I have been using for the past year or so.

Tried OBS. Couldn't get it to work. Plus, FRAPS cost money, and I'm not going to spend 30 bucks on a screen recorder.
I'm hoping to get the program I have to record Morrowind, instead of install something else.

i tried using obs, but it showed morrowind in a small box in the top right corner plus the taskbar kept flashing in the recording help?

sounds like you didnt set the source correctly. Use window capture instead of region.

You can also resize and move the video on the output side. Mostly thats used for multiple video sources.

For starters you dont use Monitor capture :P

Monitor Capture does exatly that, captures your entire monitor and all jucy taskbar and window frames that you dont want in your video/stream along with it.

Start with launching whatever it is your going to be capturing then go to your OBS window.

Right click Click inside the Sources box, select add, then Add window capture and give it a name when prompted.

At the top of the box shoudl be a drop window that contains every active window you have currently open, select the one you desire (If its not in the list hit refresh and it should appear so long as its running)

Make sure Inner window is selected and not entire window and hit ok.

Make sure your new source is checked inside the source box and uncheck any other sources and your good to go.
