blunt weapons or axes or should i just do long blade

im going to play a jack of all trades [a bit of warror a bit of theif a bit of mage] but i dont want to do longblade again but can blunt weapons and axe work in a theif and if it can what one should i do [sorry for the bad spelling]

I often played thief with blunt, sounded better to me. First pick-pock my victim, then give him a clash with blunt and run ^^

You could also put some effort into short blade. That comes in handy when you get Keening.

It is one of the rewards for doing the main quest; a really cool short sword.

I feel like theives probably should specialise in short blade for the whole concealed weapon thing. Still, it's Morrowind - do what you like!
